Hi Pat, My reluctant readers (boys) LOVE anything by Gary Paulsen. Depending on level, I've also had success with:
Gordon Korman's On the Run books Louis Sacher Sideways Stories from Wayside School Bone by Jeff Smith (they love these!) Bunnicula by ?? (forget author) Skeleton Creek by ?? Mysteries in Our National Parks series by Gloria Skurzynski and Alane Ferguson Goosebumps Clique series (for girls) Royal Diaries and American Diaries (many of my female reluctant readers liked these) Kim On Fri, Aug 28, 2009 at 12:36 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > I am looking for titles for grade 7 students who are not meeting the > state's standards, they are in an AIS (Academic Intervention class).
