I am a returning member to this group. I left when I changed e-mail service providers, and I have returned just recently. I have an add from Heinemann that I probably got last spring. Finally I am going through mail, and thinking of buying some books. If you have read either of these books, please let me know what you think. Clock Watchers: Six Steps to Motivating and Engaging Disengaged Students Across Content Areas by Stevi Quate and John McDermott

Background Knowledge: The Missing Piece of the Comprehension Puzzle by Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey

I will probably only buy one of these two books, so I hoping your information can help me decide which one. Thanks!
Jan
