Luca, further to Astrid's comments,
Can you please cover our legal requirements by confirming to this osgeolive list that you are ok with the Open Source licenses we use, as per:
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Live_GIS_Disc#Subversion

Also add yourself to the contributors.csv and translators.csv file.

Re osgeolive translators, I suggest touching base with:
Anne Ghisla, Massimo and Marco who have previously indicated an interest in Italian translations.

Hi Luca,

great that you will help with the italian translation.

Check out this page about translation:
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Live_GIS_Translate

You need commit rights for the svn and then the best thing would be to get
in contact with the other itanlian translators.

Welcome and thanks

Astrid

Hi everybody,
my name is Luca Delucchi, I'm Italian and I'd like to help you with Italian
translation. I would ask you if this mailing list is the right place where
speak about translation or if it's better to write directly to the other
translator of my country.

I'm starting to translate copyright page and I saw that you use "Open
Source licenses", I'd like to suggest to change it to "Free and Open
Source licenses"

Best regards
