Hi Hamish,
I am not sure why this happened.
I installed all applications after that and they work.
I have also moved search for updates to weekly before beta5...
Weird.

Hi,
sorry, just loading up the logs and looking at the error reports listed
at the end, it's apparent that something went wrong with it, causing a
bunch of projects to not install correctly (osm, opencpn, openjump,
gpsdrive, mapproxy, mapguide, any probably others).
Specifically, this happened during setup.sh:
"""
dpkg: error: dpkg status database is locked by another process
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
"""
Which caused gdebi and a bunch of other needed base packages to not be
installed.
if you were not doing anything else at the time, maybe the daily check for
available updates daemon was to blame?
thanks,
Hamish
