I think it is better to describe the OSM plugin as not present in qgis 2.0
because it is buggy. It's still better than the current alternative (if it
were working), and "obsolete" indicates it's been replaced by something
better. I would hope it gets fixed one day and returns, as it was kinda
nice. (seems to be a 32bit/64bit issue, the OSM db exceeded 32bit space
some months back)
