Hi all,
Since we have officially started our development for OSGeoLive 8.5, it
is time to update all our applications to the latest stable version
available.
Towards our first alpha build, I re-enabled the nightly ppa [1] and have
rebuilt all current packages from UbuntuGIS unstable.
Also, I copied over some packages from our previous release (debs that
do not exist in UbuntuGIS ppa).
Debian packages are always our first priority, since they define our
"base system", so it is a good time to accept contributions in packaging
and deb package updates or backports.
So here is our first successful nightly build [2][3] for initial testing.
Major new features in this build:
- GDAL 1.11.0
- QGIS 2.6
Please test and report back your findings [4].
