I just tested GeoMoose on http://aiolos.survey.ntua.gr/gisvm/dev/osgeo-
live-nightly-php5-amd64-bfaddd0.iso + `apt-get install php5.6-mbstring`
and it looks like it is working to me.
Thanks for your efforts to get PHP 5.6/MapScript working!
