That's possibly because `ossim-
planet/ossimPlanet/examples/ossimplanettest/ossimplanettest.cpp` requires
`images/textures/reference/earth.jpg` which is not installed, the
`textures` subdirectory is not included in the upstream ossim tarball at
all.
