do i have to rebuild live555 when i change source code? how can i build
it and please tell me where do i have to move the ".o" if i have to

1/ Change inputFileName from ?in.264? to ?stdin?, and
2/ Change outputFileName from ?out.ts? to ?stdout?.

No, I really meant the strings ?stdin? (including the quotes) and ?stdout?.
Our software automatically recognizes those strings as special ?file names?.

No, because - by default - USE_SSM is not defined.
