You haven’t said what your RTSP client application is. If it wasn’t written by
us (even though it uses our RTSP client library), then we might not be able to
help you here. (I.e. the ‘deadlock’ might be occurring in software that we
didn’t write.)
Instead, I suggest that you first try using our own “openRTSP” command-line
RTSP client application; see
