Los Angeles Times | April 7th, 2009 | 10:37 p.m. PT --- Authorities are searching a campground near Temecula tonight after reports that a gunman shot four people during a religious retreat. Details about the shooting were sketchy, and it's unclear if the gunman is still at large. Riverside County Sheriff's deputies and California Highway Patrol officers were scouring a large expanse of open space off California 79. KTLA News reported that the shooting occurred during some type of church retreat. Fox 11 said early reports indicated that four people had been shot, and two were in critical condition.
