A while ago (3 weeks? a month? 6 weeks?) I bought
an expensive meter from Sears. It has the clip-on
current measuring ability to 1000 amps DC or AC.
The standard probes for normal AC or DC voltage,
resistance,etc measurements. The laser pointer
thermal measurement. Peak hold. Reading hold, etc,
etc, etc.
It cost about 200 bucks too.

I think that beats the HECK out of the 'sale'
price of the Fluke thermal meter.
Not that I have anything against Fluke! I used
their meters a LOT in my 16 year electronics
career. BUT... Now days I am paying for the
equipment.
I think you get the point...

Oh yeah. That meter I bought was NOT on 'sale'
and YOU can get one right now from Sears...

The usual disclaimers, yada, yada, yada.
