Ahoy Fred,

Good to hear your are cozy in Baltimore and that a new kitty is in the offing.
Please send us some pics when you find your new companion.

As we both know, as with my Frumi, Lupo will not be forgotten. I even think of
the other animal friends I have loved in the past from time to time.

Mimsey has fully recovered and she thanks you for asking.

Jan and I hope you have a bright and sunny 2008...

Hi Norm & Jan-

Good to hear from you.

I'm tucked away in my cocoon for the winter, tho today is sunny & 50+F.

Sorry to hear about Mimsey, hope she recovers fully.

No, no new kitty yet. I have visited several in shelters, almost adopted one,
but have not found ~the~ one that I'm really drawn to. It's just a matter of
time tho as I have already purchased food/water bowls, litter box, and a few
toys in anticipation of adopting.

Have a terrific 2008!

Fred

And that good advice includes you Fred.

Good to hear you on the List. Hope all is well with you.

Have you got a new kitty yet?

Mimsey went to have her teeth cleaned yesterday. It requires general
anesthesia. They had to pull one bad one.

Recovering from the anesthesia she was blind having to do with blood starvation
to a certain part of the brain due to a blood pressure drop during the surgery.
I got a horrible phone call from the vet. But she said that in most cases
they recover. We picked her up in the afternoon and by then her vision was
recovering somewhat. We took her home and she seems normal now but her eyes
still have trouble closing in bright light, but they are better than yesterday,
so the trend is in the right direction. I do expect her to recover fully. She
is playing with Julington normally and everything is normal except the iris
closing.

Keep in touch...
