Not trying to influence anyone for or against Jabsco heads. My experience is that when I pur the boat , a 1981 CHB, in 1985 it had the orig head, a Jabsco manual. I immediately added the electric conversion. Still have the boat, lived on board for 4.5 yrs and have used the boat a lot. Pur two repair kits more yrs ago than I can recall and still have both---unused except for the joker valves, did use those.
The head has never clogged, we flush the paper. I have no complaints except that this style uses too much water per flush. Count me in the satisfied column.
