If you find a model boat that you like, get on the owners e.mail lists and look for For Sale By Owner boats. How about a Whitby 42 or CSY 44? It is good if the PO did the upgrades, look for quality work. Boats that have been for sale 1 year plus have owners that will take low offers, gladly.
