There is another "America's only true fjord", Somes Sound in Maine, at 44
18.1N 068 18.45W. It ends in Somes Harbor at it's north end, an idyllic
quiet harbor complete with kayakers from the surrounding state park and
some bald eagles.

When we were there we were concerned about the eagles making off with one
of our cats. Can anyone tell us if it was a valid concern? Do eagles pose
a hazard to a domestic cat?
