Hey folks,
The time has come. I getting Princess Thalia ready to sail her back to
Annapolis spend the winter here and then who knows. I just purchased a wind
genny Ampair 100 from Bacons
yesterday in a reasonable price that I could not resist. I also have a
Kyocera 130 watt
solar panel with a Prostar 15 controller to run my loads like fridge and the
rest.
I've had it with the weather and the rest up here and looking forward to
turn the page
start a new chapter and start a new chapter. I bought a sewing machine from
sailrite last
year and I just finished a complete bimini and I re-sewed my genoa's sun
cover.
It turned out pretty nice. It will be an other way to bring food on the
table with small repairs.
I am going down from Oswego and the Hudson and then C&D down the Chesapeake.
She is almost ready with few things do be organized for the journey. A
couple of months ago
I was doing a repair on a '84 Hunter 34 and the customer requested to
rearrange his sail locker
and remove a device that was just taking space and it was not in use.
Well this thing turned out to be a Katadyn E80 water-maker to my benefit.
I just need to refurbish it and clean it. So there is an other asset for
long trips to the
Islands and Europe.
So, fire up your engines and spin the gears of advice. I am all ears.
