Hi All, Hurricane Gustav is all but over here in Sourth Central Lousiana.
Max winds hit about 100 kts, but mostly gusting to 80-84 kts. Average 50-60 kts.. North winds blew out almost all the water. Keel on bottom, about 3 deg bow down and 20 deg heel for a while. Water is back up to normal with SW winds, clocking to S. I don't think we'll get more than 3 ft. or so above normal. I'm PO'ed. My anenometer seems to show half the wind speed and nothing over 40 kts. There was a nearby lift boat and we got reports over the radio. Darn. Now I have to contact the company and try to get it fixed or replaced.
