Ok so we haven't been using all our clothes that we have on the boat ... We're working on that ... But today while putting away clean clothes in our cedar drawers, I found that most of the whites (underwear, T-shirts, etc.) are yellowed. Not just yellowed, but have a light brown color to them? The change in color is not due to the clothing touching the cedar, but from just being in the drawers. Granted these are underclothing, that are emergency spares. But it concerns me because some of my other clothing in the cedar hanging lockers are rather expensive to replace/clean should they start turning yellow. Has anyone experienced this with your clothes? If so what did you do to correct it? (Don't tell me to get rid of the clothes, just not gonna happen!) I'm not fond of the idea of putting my clothes in plastic bags and then into the drawers. -Anita (Not quite full-time cruisers, but working on it!)
