Arild, believe it or not but straight anti freeze has a higher freezing point 
than mixed anti freeze. ie straight will freeze at -20 while mixed will be good 
for -30. (these are just random numbers I used for illustration)

Anti freeze is designed to be mixed with water. If you are experiencing cold 
snaps that low another idea is to put a piece of cardboard in front of the rad. 
You may find that you have to secure it to the grill as the idea is to slow the 
incoming air, not block it from going thru the rad fins.
