In a "not in my backyard" 4-0 vote, the South Daytona Beach City Council passed a draft resolution that would give the city police broader powers to deal with "people living aboard boats moored in the Halifax River," according to a recent newsjournalonline.com.article. ---snip--- Marco Island, FL - The city of Marco Island has filed yet another appeal in its effort to restrict anchoring in city waters.
