I got a very positive indication across a specific line on my property. I actually knew where the line was and wanted to confirm that the dowsing rod theory worked. Much to my dismay the indication wasn't the water line. It was a while before I realized I was detecting the overhead power line. Water no, power yes. Two brass rods bent 90 degrees.
