I use a Blue Sky Energy (formerly RV Power Products) Power Boost 50 Maximum
Power Point Tracker to control the PV charge to my house battery and
connect my starting battery to the house battery with one of Yandina's
Combiners.

It all works very well.

I don't have a "A, B, Both" switch but I do have a "off-on" switch to
connect the house and start batteries when desired.

I am in the process of installing a digital meter on the front panel of the
MPPT.  If anyone is interested in this project contact me next week to see
if I succeeded.
