Sorry to interject non-origami boat topics, but wanted to share the news of Bolger's death. This link is to the Bolger Yahoo Group with a long letter of explanation by Suzanne Altenburger, his wife and companion of 15 years. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bolger/message/60397 ----- End forwarded message ----- Earlier this year, my wife and I were talking about sharing a project with our young son, as soon as he's old enough, of building a boat - something to enjoy and remember, as well as to be proud of. The design we picked was Phil Bolger's simple but sturdy Puddle Duck. I'm sure that Michael will not be the first child whose first personal experience on the water was mediated by Bolger's designs - nor will he be the last. /In pace requiescat/, Phil. You've done good work on this Earth, and memories of you will be long. You will be missed by many. -- * Ben Okopnik * Editor-in-Chief, Linux Gazette * http://LinuxGazette.NET * _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
