Thanks for the concern - it was an eBay buy-it-now, with paypal, and a
subsequent payment for the shipping.  Further, he knows me and the boat from
internet postings - when we talked, he asked if it was coming off my Morgan
:{))
No worries here...

As to the other, I figure it was, prolly, a scam, and I was going to be
extremely cautious.  However, he's off on a photo shoot, not to return for a
couple of weeks, when he'd collect his excess, using the terms "funds have
cleared your bank" in all our correspondence.  In any event, I'm very
pleased that it went to someone who knew our boat.  He's got its twin and
will be using it to make a solent rig on his First 42, an ideal situation
(two of the same furlers right behind each other)...
