Different boats, different capabilities. I like my Porta-Bote…but recognize its limitations where, in some situations, an inflatable would be better suited. On the other hand, it is easy to stow.
Small or large, every boat is a compromise. All the best, CT S/V Calliste 18˚23ʹ11ʺN 88˚23ʹ38ʺW _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Philip R. I'm glad that it works for you, but please don't make the mistake of claiming that it's a "cure" for inflatable issues; that would be a classic case of the cure being worse than the disease. If we start talking about the problems of Port-a-botes, inflatable leaks will seem like a minor annoyance by comparison. -- * Ben Okopnik * Editor-in-Chief, Linux Gazette * http://LinuxGazette.NET <http://linuxgazette.net/> * _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
