Went to the VA in Durham today. The lady wasn't there this afternoon and no copy of my record was waiting for me. I'm thrilled. Will politely inquire tomorrow. Norm, there are people called National Service Officers. I think they are DAV personnel and are located in DC. Helped a friend of mine who now has 100% disability and earned it. Took a couple of years. His wounds and Purple Hearts are obvious.
