Just like hurricane weather (we're suffering tropical rains and serious flooding) I had to wear wading boots to get George ashore because the water was 7" above the decking of the dock and the boarding ramp is like a water slide. As usual, George could not find his wading boots so he went ashore al fresco in the dark.
On the way back, I tried to walk on water by venturing where there was no finger pier! So George says, "Hey stupid, over here." Using my flashlight I see that Mr. George is waiting for me 4 feet away in front of the actual finger pier. Now, George has cataracts and has trouble seeing and he can't smell'o vision beneath the water, but he knows where the finger pier is hiding! What a guy. We are back aboard now and hoping that my 0500 trip to the Durham VA will find the water down. Ron
