What is this file? It is [mis]dated a year ago, but it is a full 400 mb in size. I only downloaded the 100mb one before. Will this disc create an LFS system? or will it just error out?
sorry if i am being pesky...

Hey all:
A second pre-release version of the next livecd is ready.
Some changes are being made with the main ftp server. lfs-matrix.de has a sister server in Canada now called lfs-matrix.net. This one has more available bandwidth, so it's been decided to keep the isos there.
ftp://ftp.lfs-matrix.net/pub/lfs-livecd/livecd-6.0.9-20050211-pre2.iso
Changes from pre1:
* nALFS built to include libxml2, curl & ssl libraries
* 'expert mode': Not much of a 'mode' per se, however, if you enter 'expert' on the boot command line anywhere after 'linux', the bootscripts will not start the hotplug script or the network script. Otherwise, hotplug will look to load modules and the network script will attempt to bring up the eth0 device via dhcp
* Added missing localnet script to fix the "can't login after net-setup" bug in the previous version.
* Upgraded Samba to 3.0.11
* Upgraded LVM2 to 2.01.04
* Added 'cp etc/hotplug/pnp.distmap /etc/hotplug' to the hotplug build to match the LFS Book
* Added packages, slrn, mutt and Postfix
That should be most of it. I'll be incorporating a changelog in future releases. Versioning will likely be adjusted, as well.
