Hey Guys,
Just wondering if this is useful to anyone using the LiveCD these
days. I was thinking we could at least up it to i586 if no one is
using the LiveCD on 486 machines.
I think the last time I did LFS on my 486 I installed a cdrom drive
and had to use some kinda floppy to actually boot the lfs livecd. I
do know that I'd be one that will use it in the future on one 486.
The rest of my machines are i686. I make a motion to keep an LFS
livecd in the archive for 486's and build the rest for 586 and above.
That way if someone needs to at least use an LFS livecd to recover
something on a 486 it'll be there for them. Probably wouldn't update
it. I think most days people actually build an LFS system for 486's
on their 586's and 686's.
