Joanne and I may be interested.

However, we took a look at the T&Cs, and they say that there's a £10 deposit per person, payable 21 days in advance, non-refundable unless applied for in writing a week in advance. Also a 10% compulsory gratuity added on parties as large as ours. All this seems to only apply through the Nov/Dec giftmas period, but regardless of what menu you order from.

Might take a bit of fiddling around when it comes time to settle up after the meal.

Any thoughts?

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it's taken me a while to weigh in on this, I've been unwell again since last week.

We had a chat amongst the 6 or 7 LUG members who attended Ignite last week and Italian was the most popular choice. I suggested Amalia because it's near our normal meeting spot, it's a nice independent restaurant and I've been there before.

I suggest we ignore the Christmas menu which is a set 3 course affair and order from the normal evening menu, see the full menu here --- http://www.amalialiverpool.co.uk/images/menu_restaurant/menu_amalia_restaurant.pdf

For those concerned that they don't like pizza or pasta there are also grilled and roast chicken, homemade burger, steaks, and quite a few fish options. All served with chips, salad or new potatoes and other veg.

If none of that appeals then I understand but unfortunately we'll never please everyone. That's why we ended up at the Red Hot Buffet because it had everything. Including a questionable hygiene record it seems, which I didn't know.

THE DETAILS:

DATE: ***Weds Dec 7th 2016*** - In lieu of our Dec meeting as usual.

NO DEPOSIT OR FIRM COMMITMENT NEEDED AT THIS STAGE

Just contact me if you're interested and I'll add up the numbers and contact the restaurant. If a deposit is needed I will come back to you but they have the ability to reserve a table for up to 20 people on their website. Christmas business may affect this.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK, THANKS :-)

Sorry for the all caps and fairly long email but I wanted to make it as clear as possible. If you read this far well done, your reward is you can go do something else now.

See ya,

Dan
