Hello all,
It's 2 weeks until our next LivLUG meeting and I wanted to see if anyone is
willing to give a talk? There's nothing planned at the moment and all
suggestions are welcome. Even if it's just topics you want to hear about and
then we can try to find a speaker who can enlighten us.
If you are considering giving a talk yourself but aren't sure it's worth
remembering the following. It doesn't have to be massively techy, we're a
friendly bunch and very welcoming. We aren't expecting some rehearsed
masterpiece with a dozen detailed slides, it can just be an informal talk or
perhaps a demo of some software or hardware you've been using that you want to
share.
Many conferences have what they term a "call for papers" when people submit
ideas, so you can consider this a call for papers I suppose.
I've given a few talks and for my part I will try to come up with something new
and interested to present in the coming months.
Anyone else up for it too?
Dan
