Now that we are top posting :-) ...

Looking through my notes, I seem to have given talks on the following topics over the years:

1. Introduction to Asterisk VoIP system
2. Further configuration of Asterisk
3. UEFI and GPT
4. Introduction to VLAN's
5. Syncthing
6. Introduction to setting up DNS
7. Setting up an outgoing smtp server (mainly using Exim)
8. Setting up and configuring SpamAssassin
9. Using dm-crypt / cryptsetup for root partitions
10. I think there were 1-2 presentations on the cctv system for buses I was working on - which is now technically defunct 11. I think I gave a presentation on mapping for OSM - but can't find the notes 12. I'm pretty sure I showed the clocking in / attendance software I was working on. That is still a current project, installed and running at clients.

It's really down to whether there is interest in any of the topics above from anyone. If all else fails, I could give a presentation on installing Slackware :)

On the other hand, if Julian is ready with his Nixos talk, we could have that this week, and we can pick something from the above for one of the next meets.

Hi Seb,

That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. Do you have something you would be willing to re-run for next week perhaps?

See ya,

Dan

Hello everyone. Just something that crossed my mind the other day (yes, things do on occasion cross my mind!) We've had quite a few talks and presentations over the years. Half of them I don't even remember properly any more, the other half I didn't manage to attend, and for the third half - well, we now have members who weren't around at the time. Why don't we re-run some of those talks? I certainly wouldn't mind going again through some of the topics. It would also be less preparation for the person who is giving the talk - as they hopefully still have around the materials they collated for the talk.

What do we think?
