If anyone has some knowledge in the area of rfid readers, a talk would
be much appreciated. Things like:
1. Hardware options for the readers themselves
2. Communicating to an rfid reader from a (Linux) pc - if possible
3. Protocol/format options
4. Connecting to an rfid reader over a longer distance (10-50m) - and
options - maybe PoE, or a long serial line, or a wireless protocol
5. Software which can interact with, reprogram or/and read from rfid
readers and write to them.
Just an idea to float around :-)
