Hi folks,
I have added experimental webm (vp8/vorbis/matroska)

[see here: http://www.webmproject.org/]

encoding support to LiVES. If you want to try this, you will need the svn
dev version of LiVES, instructions for which can be found here:

http://lives.sourceforge.net/index.php?do=code

Clips can be encoded by selecting File -> Encode clip as...
Enter the filename (without extension), then select the ffmpeg_encoder,
and set the output format to webm (experimental).

If anybody wants to play around with the ffmpeg encoding command, you can
find this in the perl file:
/usr/lib/lives/plugins/encoders/ffmpeg_encoder

N.B., you will need to install vp8 support in ffmpeg via a patch, until it
becomes part of the standard build. I followed the instructions here:

http://lardbucket.org/blog/archives/2010/05/19/vp8-webm-and-ffmpeg/

LiVES - SUPPORTING FREE VIDEO/AUDIO/CONTAINER FORMATS SINCE 2002 !

Regards,
Gabriel.
