Hello,

I have been trying out mjpegtools_yuv_to_v4l to combine with LiVES. If I use
the default settings for the YUV stream it works. (That is with Xawtv, Pure
Data seems to still have some problems, but that should be the v4l
settings.)

But I would like to support a higher resolution. Let's say 800x600. I can
configure this in LiVES, but then the mjpegtools_yuv_to_v4l cam output go's
al garbled. It has green lines with some lines in between which seem to
contain the motion of the video.

I have looked in to the source of mjpegtools_yuv_to_v4l and it seems to
support the stream headers for different kind of widths and heights. So it
should be able to.

- Does LiVES send these yuv stream headers?
- Has anyone experiance with using the yuv output stream at a higher
resolution. Is this actually possible?

My final goal: to connect multiple instances of LiVES in Pure Data, in and
out put. To create realtime video mapping for simple geo shapes. The input
part is already there, I made it for my current setup:

Patches and code will be made available of course.
