I've finally updated my desktop to Ubuntu 11.04 and just tried to compile lives-1.4.2 which died at this point:
make[4]: Entering directory `/home/doug/Desktop/lives-1.4.2/lives-plugins/plugins/playback/video' vloopback.c:25:28: fatal error: linux/videodev.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. From what I can see videodev.h and v4l is deprecated on new kernels in favour of v4l2, what do I do?
