I have installed Lives on a netbook with latest Ubuntu OS and it doesn't work - I can't see the top menu, select objects, scroll the window, which basically means that I can't do anything with Lives. I already have minor problems with displaying some windows that are larger than the screen size, they don't resize correctly and I think that Ubuntu might be responsible for that (not conforming to the small screen of my netbook perhaps). Is there any chance to fix it? I really need a more advanced video editing software and Lives seems to be the only option for Linux that I found.
