What version of LiVES are you using ?
The 99% rendering mark would indicate it is probably getting stuck
rendering the audio.
Are you rendering from multitrack ? If so you could test this by rendering
only the video part (from the Render menu).
I am currently rewriting audio rendering to allow for audio effects, so
maybe in the process this bug will get resolved.

Are you talking about the Preferences window ? There were various graphical
fixes for this in the laast few versions.

OK, this one is a little tricky, because that generator uses imagemagick
for rendering. Although it is possible to get a list of fonts dynamically
from imagemagick, the plugin interface means that the font list has to
offer a fixed selection.
I guess one solution would be to have a text entry box to allow user
defined fonts to be entered.

Great ! But I think the squeeze version is still 1.6.2 instead of 1.6.3.
The debian packager had a strange compilation problem building 1.6.3, and
he unfortunately does not have time to resolve it.
