I've compiled Lives 1.8.2 on Xubuntu 12.04 and everything works fine except
that it only ever uses one of my CPUs, whether applying real time effects
or rendering a new output file. Is this normal? I went back to check and
when running ./configure it definitely picked up POSIX as the API, that was
the default.
