I am very pleased to announce the release of LiVES 2.2.0. This release adds
a new "avformat" decoder which can handle mpeg, avi, mov and mp4 type
files. The LiVES renderer has been updated so it is now multithreaded. This
means much smoother
Several bugs and regressions have been fixed, notably:
- crash in swscaler when image width is not a multiple of 4.
- crash (regression) when setting effect parameters in multitrack
- fixed recent breakage in multiple image loading
- fixed recent bugs in "Edit/Delete" and opening previews (with instant
opening clips)
- fixed missing audio encoding in "Encode Selection"
Some areas have also been optimised:
- opening and closing the effect mapper window
- letterbox mode fullscreen playback
- loading/saving layouts in multitrack
- thread locking between audio and video threads has been improved
Also, in the data connector (part of the effect maper window), it is now
possible to map parameter data outputs to multiple parameter inputs.

Updated translations to UK English, German, Russian and Ukranian.
