Good afternoon Gabriel. Since my old Madriva box died I've been slowly getting a Ubuntu 14.04 system up and running. I've now gotten to the point where I need to install Lives. I first installed the 2.2.0 version from the Ubuntu repos and it would not even start. Removed it and downloaded the 2.2.7 source. I ran ./configure, the output of that is here http://pastebin.com/2iKTUqQC I notice it says I do not have GTK installed. I did a 'locate libgtk' and the output is here http://pastebin.com/HEyZMWjm not sure how I need to proceed from here. I really like the software and used it frequently before in processing videos frame by frame from my paranormal investigations. I'm really missing it.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Chris Note: Distro and kernel information are below in my sig. I'm also running Gnome 3.12.2. -- Chris KeyID 0xE372A7DA98E6705C 31.11°N 97.89°W (Elev. 1092 ft) 15:11:03 up 17:49, 2 users, load average: 0.36, 0.39, 0.55 Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, kernel 3.14.0-031400-generic ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming!
