I am very pleased to announce the release of LiVES version 2.4.0
This is mainly a bugfix release, but it also adds C++ language bindings for
programmatic control of LiVES (details to follow shortly).
The problems that were being caused by GTK+ 3.10 have now been fixed, along
with several other GUI fixes.
A threading bug which was causing a crash during playback in multitrack
mode has been fixed.
A major issue with saving / loading multitrack layouts has been fixed. Any
users who use LiVES for multitrack work are strongly adivsed to upgrade so
as not to lose any work.
A couple of startup stability issues have been fixed, including the crash
reported by Harrie.
Special thanks to Thomas Berger for suggesting some portability fixes and
to the launchpad translators for the language updates.

Updated translations to UK English, French, Galician, German, Russian and
Simplified Chinese.
