Anyway, just check it in. The content of this patch is not worth arguing about. What is worth arguing about, however, is that changes need to have some kind of reasonable justification. "I don't want to install swig" is not -- to me -- a reasonable justification. "I *need* to be able to not install swig" is a reasonable justification.
