I'm marking this as resolved as of r329590.
llvm-mca does accept asm comments to mark the sequences of instructions to be
analyzed by llvm-mca. Binary regions are covered in the binary support ticket:
PR38832. Andrea committed the original code for code-region support in r329590
(2018-04-09 09:39:52 -0700).
