(I posted this on the LMMS users list last week, but I guess devs don't read that :P)
When using ALSA, there's a lot of lag because of dmix. Is it possible to configure LMMS to open the hardware device directly without dmix? (Like JACK does, for example.) I tried entering "hw:0,0" in the device field in the LMMS settings for ALSA, but it doesn't work; after restarting LMMS, "dummy" is used as output and I'm asked to configure it again. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: Show off your parallel programming skills.
