I've definitely considered the "dedicated fx-line per instrument" idea
and I personally like it.  The user could choose an option "Show
instrument fx lines".  I don't know if they will get into LMMS anytime
soon, but it is slated for my major redesign.

Speaking of the redesign, after a few months of silence, I am finally
getting to work on it again.  Things look very positive right now!
