I think this is Toby's point. If we are going to do site work, it should
probably be coordinated. I can offer both the hosting space as well as the
bandwidth, but as he's stated previously, there's not necessarily anything
wrong with sourceforge.
>From a longevity perspective, my hosting costs are backed by a FOSS
software product, but we sell support at a premium. We've had over 3,000
downloads <http://qzindustries.com/download> of our product since December
and our hosting does NOT limit the amount of bandwidth we use each month.
My business partner (my brother) is a GNU Linux advocate and has agreed to
sponsor this hosting if it's needed.
But this information and this offer is all moot if SourceForge can do it
for free. :)
I have to regularly update our company website with Wiki articles, download
links, etc, so I think updating the sourceforge page would be in my "wheel
house" so to speak.
Since 1.0.0 is on it's way, the home page should be updated and since I'm
not particularly good at the C++ end of things, I wanted to offer my help
with updating the site.
I understand this responsibility may also include managing the LSP which
I'm not as familiar with, so if I were to assume this role, I would
certainly need help on the custom code that's been written over the years,
but I'm not opposed to doing it.
