Hi, sorry for the noise. I wasn't aware of how LMMS determines the plugin directory when writing you a few days back. When LIB_DIR is specified explicitely upon invoking CMake, the specified path will compiled into the LMMS binary and thus the previous build settings (files in /usr/lib/<ARCH>/lmms) should work fine as well. You should be able to verify this easily by just looking whether all instruments are available in the instrument browser.
