It actually makes me curious if Zyn is working but the gui is hanging. I'll know if it makes sounds once I get the dmg finished since VirtualBox lacks sound drivers for OSX. :)  I was hoping to decode the solution from the old MacPorts diffs, which clearly state in some of them they get Zyn "working", but to no avail. I even turned on "Dummy Audio" in hopes it was the lack of sound card hanging it.... :)
